Job summary

Arvin International Marketing Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics for salt, rice, chemicals, and related products.

The role requires coordinating with port, vessel, and logistics partners to ensure timely vessel discharge and cargo receipt. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years in warehouse management, SAP WMS experience, and strong leadership and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience
• Experience in a warehouse supervisory or managerial role
• SAP WMS experience is required
• Experience in port, vessel discharge, cargo handling, or import logistics is highly preferred
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, batch/lot tracking, stock reconciliation, and inventory control
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and warehouse/logistics systems
• Strong communication and coordination with internal teams and external partners
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays when required by schedules and ops

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory, picking, loading, and dispatch.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, segregation, and documentation of salt, rice, chemicals, and other products.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, stock reconciliation, and proper system transactions.
• Manage warehouse capacity, layout, product traceability, and FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics including trucking, deliveries, and cargo transfers.
• Coordinate with vessel agents, port/terminal operators, stevedores, surveyors, trucking companies, and freight forwarders for vessel discharge and cargo receipt.
• Monitor vessel schedules, cargo discharge, truck turnaround, and related activities to minimize delays and costs.
• Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of cargo received from vessels and ports.
• Lead and manage warehouse personnel including scheduling, training, performance monitoring, and manpower planning.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety, chemical handling, environmental, fire safety, and Philippine regulations.
• Monitor KPIs and implement initiatives to improve productivity, inventory accuracy, space utilization, service levels, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory, warehouse operations, logistics performance, and other key metrics.
• Collaborate with Importation, Purchasing, Sales, Finance, Accounting, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow from importation to delivery

About the Role

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, storage, material handling, and distribution logistics.

• SAP WMS experience is required.

• Experience in port, vessel discharge, cargo handling, or import logistics is highly preferred.

• Experience handling chemicals, food products, commodities, or other imported goods is an advantage.

• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, batch/lot tracking, stock reconciliation, and inventory control.

• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and warehouse/logistics systems.

• Strong communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external logistics partners.
