Job summary

ADSIA LOGISTICS INC. in Mandaue City, Cebu, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimise warehousing and logistics operations. This full-time role focuses on process analysis, design of improvements, SOP development, and KPI monitoring to drive productivity and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years in industrial engineering or process improvement, preferably in logistics.
• Lean/Six Sigma and process-mapping proficiency.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Visio, simulation software and Excel.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or logistics software is a plus.

About the role

ADSIA LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineer to join our growing team in Mandaue City, Cebu. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in optimising our operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement across our logistics operations. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be instrumental in analysing, designing, and implementing solutions that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our operations whilst working with a dynamic team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct detailed process analysis and workflow studies to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within logistics and warehouse operations
• Design and implement process improvements, optimisation strategies, and operational enhancements that increase productivity and reduce operational costs
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions that support consistent, efficient operations
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements and track progress against targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, management, and warehouse staff to identify bottlenecks and develop practical solutions
• Conduct time studies and motion studies to establish realistic performance benchmarks and identify opportunities for efficiency gains
• Support the design and layout optimisation of warehouse facilities and material handling systems
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations documenting findings, recommendations, and results of engineering analyses
• Identify and recommend appropriate tools, technologies, and equipment that could enhance operational efficiency
• Provide training and guidance to operational staff on new processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in industrial engineering or process improvement roles, preferably within logistics, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environments
• Strong proficiency in process mapping, workflow analysis, and lean or Six Sigma methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Proficiency with engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, Visio, or simulation software; Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all organisational levels
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality in all deliverables and analyses
• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies is highly desirable
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or logistics software is a plus
