Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support regional inbound operations, track shipments from global suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials to supporting plant operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field, 2+ years in logistics, strong coordination and communication skills, and hands-on SAP experience. This is an onsite role with Monday to Friday shifts in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of logistics experience.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
• Familiarity with shipping processes and Incoterms.
• Excellent English and local language skills.
• Hands-on SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track inbound shipments from global suppliers and ensure timely delivery.
• Follow up on purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers.
• Arrange transportation with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics partners.
• Monitor deliveries from ports to warehouses or plants.
• Work with customs brokers to clear inbound shipments.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
• Review freight invoices and monitor service provider performance.
• Maintain shipment records and update SAP or other systems.
• Escalate logistics issues and provide timely updates.

Job Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, transportation, or related operations
• Experience supporting regional logistics requirements and coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and logistics providers
• Basic knowledge of shipping processes, air/sea/land transportation, and Incoterms
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and willing to learn/use SAP or other logistics systems
• Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage urgent tasks, and prioritize multiple requirements effectively
• Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in English and local languages
• Experience in a chemical industry or multinational company and hands-on SAP experience are highly preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Track inbound shipments from global suppliers and inter-affiliates and ensure timely delivery of raw materials to support plant operations across the Greater Asia region
• Follow up on purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to resolve delivery delays and issues
• Arrange and coordinate transportation with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics partners
• Monitor and coordinate deliveries from ports/terminals to warehouses or plants
• Work closely with customs brokers to ensure timely clearance of inbound shipments
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth inbound operations
• Review freight invoices, support logistics cost control, and monitor logistics service provider performance
• Maintain accurate shipment records and regularly update SAP or other logistics systems
• Escalate logistics issues when necessary and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders
