John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Logistics and Supply Chain professional to coordinate international shipments from suppliers through final delivery, ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods across borders.
The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain, with strong collaboration with freight forwarders, brokers, ports, and partners.
Job Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Accounting, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain
Proven experience handling high-volume international shipments
Strong experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, ports, warehouses, and shipping partners
Knowledge of international shipping processes, customs requirements, and shipping documentation
Experience in purchase contracts, transaction processing, and cost tracking
Strong computer skills and proficiency in business and logistics systems
Excellent English communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team

Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate international shipments from suppliers through final delivery, ensuring timely and efficient movement of commodities
Coordinate with truckers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, ports, warehouses, and international clients on shipment requirements and schedules
Monitor shipment status, delivery timelines, and resolve logistics issues or delays
Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documents, including invoices, bills of lading, insurance certificates, certificates of origin, and quality certificates
Ensure shipments comply with customs regulations, handling, labeling, and product specifications
Prepare and process purchase contracts, update online systems, and maintain accurate transaction and retention records
Support purchasing administration, transaction execution, and logistics cost tracking and negotiation
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end logistics and purchasing operations
