We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support day-to-day human resources, policy execution, and operational transition projects across our Philippine facilities. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in the Philippine Labor Code, statutory due process, employee relations, and timekeeping administration in a fast-paced environment.
Draft and serve statutory administrative notices, including Notices to Explain (NTE), administrative hearing invitations, and Notices of Decision under the twin-notice rule.
Handle documentation for attendance infractions, grievances, performance improvement plans (PIP), and disciplinary actions.
Coordinate the proper serving and signing of memos and employee conforme sheets to secure indisputable proof of service for 201 filing.
Ensure strict adherence to the Philippine Labor Code, DOLE issuances, and company internal rules.
Review and audit daily attendance, biometric logs, tardiness, undertime, and overtime reports for plant and office personnel.
Inspect supporting attendance documents, including medical certificates, fit-to-work clearances, and Official Business (OB) slips.
Assist with recruitment and onboarding for plant operations, warehouse, logistics riders, and support roles.
Manage physical and digital 201 records, pre-employment clearance verification, and contract tracking.
Facilitate employee separation procedures, property turnover, and statutory requirements for offboarding personnel.
Contract Commitment: Willing and available to complete the full 6-month contract duration.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline.
Experience: At least 4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within manufacturing, logistics, or optical laboratory operations.
Labor Law Acumen: Sound working knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code, particularly statutory due process, Article 297 just causes, and DOLE standards.
Willing to work on-site across company facilities as required by operational demands.
Competencies:
Strong business English communication skills, with proven ability to draft formal corporate correspondence and NTEs.
High ethical standard, objectivity, and discretion when managing confidential employee files and investigations.
Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel).
