We are seeking a Human Resource Associate - Learning and Development to join our dynamic Human Resources team in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our organisational development and employee growth initiatives. As a Human Resource Associate focused on Learning and Development, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and delivery of training programmes that enhance the skills and capabilities of our workforce, whilst supporting the overall strategic objectives of the Asian Institute of Maritime Studies.
Support the identification of training needs across the organisation through liaising with departmental heads and conducting skills gap analyses
Assist in the design and development of learning and development programmes, including course content, training materials, and learning resources
Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of training sessions, workshops, and professional development events
Maintain and update training records, attendance logs, and participant feedback documentation
Support the evaluation and assessment of training effectiveness through the collection and analysis of participant feedback
Liaise with external training providers and facilitators to ensure quality delivery of programmes
Assist in the maintenance and development of the organisation's learning management systems and training databases
Support the delivery of induction and onboarding programmes for new employees
Contribute to the promotion of a learning culture within the organisation through internal communications and engagement initiatives
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources and Learning and Development team as required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in a Human Resources, Learning and Development, or Training Coordination role, ideally within an educational or corporate environment
Strong knowledge of learning and development principles, methodologies, and best practices
Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
Familiarity with maritime industry or educational sector is advantageous
