Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to oversee recruitment, payroll, compliance, and daily administration for the office. The role focuses on optimizing time-to-hire, ensuring accurate payroll releases, and enforcing DOLE regulations across HR transactions.

You will lead the GA team and HR Coordinators, consolidate HR data monthly, and act as escalation point for ER cases, requiring strong leadership and process-driven mindset with willingness

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in HR with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Leadership of GA and HR Coordinators
• Fluent in English and Filipino; Tagalog required for DOLE/ER matters
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, proactive with occasional overtime

Responsibilities

• Track recruitment TAT and identify bottlenecks
• Ensure timely onboarding for critical positions
• Review payroll calculation logic; ensure timely payroll release by C&B
• Flag and correct recurring payroll errors
• Review completeness of employee documents; onboarding, transfers, promotions, offboarding
• Ensure DOLE and company policy compliance across all HR transactions
• Oversee GA team and 2 HR Coordinators; ensure smooth office logistics
• Consolidate recruitment, offboarding, and attendance data monthly
• Produce monthly HR operations reports for HR Director
• Monitor ER/labor case progress; ensure due process and DOLE requirements

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment Control

• Track recruitment TAT (time-to-hire) for key roles
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the hiring process
• Ensure timely onboarding of critical positions

2. Payroll Supervision

• Review payroll calculation logic (not process manually)
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll release by C&B team
• Flag and correct recurring errors

3. Compliance & Process

• Review completeness of employee documents: onboarding, transfer, promotion, offboarding
• Ensure DOLE and company policy compliance across all HR transactions

4. Daily Administration Supervision

• Oversee GA (General Affairs) team and 2 HR Coordinators
• Ensure smooth logistics and administrative support for the office

5. HR Operations Data Analysis

• Consolidate recruitment, offboarding, and attendance data monthly
• Produce monthly HR operations report for HR Director

6. Labor Case Supervision (ER Ownership)

• Monitor C&B team's progress on labor dispute cases
• Ensure procedural compliance (due process, DOLE requirements)
• Serve as escalation point for complex ER cases

Qualifications

• Experience 5–8 years in HR, with at least 3 years as a manager overseeing HR operations. Core Skills: Recruitment, TAT management, payroll review, DOLE compliance, ER/labor case supervision.
• Leadership: Proven experience managing teams (GA, coordinators, or C&B staff). Able to consolidate and analyze HR metrics (attendance, turnover, TAT).
• Language: English and Filipino (Tagalog required for DOLE/ER matters)
• Mindset: Detail-oriented, process-driven, proactive in fixing problems, comfortable with occasional overtime
