Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in training and development, preferably within a financial services or HR environment.
• Proven expertise in designing and delivering effective training programs across diverse audiences.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and modern training delivery methods, including blended and digital learning approaches.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design training programmes addressing identified skills gaps and org development needs.
• Create engaging training content and learning materials, including instructor-led sessions, e-learning modules and workshops.
• Deliver training sessions to employees at all levels, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill acquisition.
• Conduct training needs analyses through consultations with departmental managers and stakeholders to identify priority areas.
• Manage the training budget, selecting training providers and negotiating contracts for cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate training programs through feedback, assessments and performance metrics.
• Maintain detailed training records and develop training reports for management review.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging training methodologies.
• Support development of induction programs for new employees to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Collaborate with senior management and HR colleagues to align training with business objectives and strategic goals.
• Mentor and coach employees to support their professional development and career progression.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Training Leader to join Peoples Credit Network Finance Co. Inc. in Cebu City. This is a full-time position that plays a strategic role in developing and delivering training programmes across the organisation. As HR Training Leader, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating comprehensive training initiatives that support employee development, organisational performance and succession planning. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth throughout the company.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience in training and development, preferably within a financial services or HR environment
• Proven expertise in designing and delivering effective training programs across diverse audiences
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and modern training delivery methods, including blended and digital learning approaches
• Excellent instructional design and content development skills
• Demonstrated ability to conduct training needs assessments and analyze training effectiveness using appropriate metrics
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and training technology platforms
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences
• Sound understanding of HR practices, employment law and organizational development principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration or a related field
• Relevant training certifications such as CPTM, CIPD, or equivalent would be advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
