We are seeking an HR Training Leader to join our Human Resources team in Davao del Sur, Davao on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that plays a crucial role in driving organisational capability and employee engagement through the design and delivery of comprehensive training and development programmes. As HR Training Leader, you will be responsible for creating a learning culture that aligns with our business objectives whilst empowering employees at all levels to reach their full potential. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our workforce remains skilled, motivated, and equipped to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Develop and implement comprehensive training strategies and programmes that address organisational skill gaps and support business goals
Design and deliver engaging training content across various formats, including classroom sessions, e-learning modules, and virtual programmes
Assess training needs through consultations with department heads, managers, and employees to identify development priorities
Create training curricula and learning pathways that support employee career progression and professional development
Manage training budgets and resources effectively to maximise the return on learning and development investments
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement
Lead and mentor junior trainers and learning coordinators, fostering a high-performing training team
Stay current with industry best practices, emerging training methodologies, and technology solutions in the learning and development field
Collaborate with senior management to align training initiatives with strategic business priorities and organisational values
Maintain comprehensive training records and documentation, including participant attendance, completion rates, and assessment results
Develop and promote a culture of continuous learning and employee engagement across the organisation
Minimum of 2 years' experience in training and development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior training role
Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs in a corporate or financial services environment
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and various training delivery methods
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and training technology platforms
Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and evaluate training effectiveness through metrics and data analysis
Demonstrated ability to manage projects, budgets, and timelines effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
Leadership capabilities with experience in team management, coaching, and performance development
Certification in training and development, instructional design, or a related field (such as ASTD, ATD, or equivalent) is highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with the financial services industry is advantageous
