Peoples Credit Network Finance Co. Inc. in the Ilocos Region is seeking an HR Training Leader for a full-time role.

You will design, develop, and deliver training and development programmes to raise employee capabilities and support workforce strategy. Reporting to senior HR management, you will lead onboarding, assess training needs, collaborate with management and external providers, maintain records, and measure impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in training and development in financial services or similar corporate environment.
• Proven track record designing and delivering training programs that improve performance.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in LMS and training software platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Filipino languages advantageous.
• Degree in HR, Training and Development, or Business Administration.
• Professional certifications such as CIPD, ATD preferred.
• Experience with credit/finance/microfinance operations is a valuable asset.

About the role

Peoples Credit Network Finance Co. Inc. is seeking an HR Training Leader to join our Human Resources & Recruitment department in the Ilocos Region on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position within our organisation where you will lead the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive training and development programmes that enhance employee capabilities and drive organisational success. As HR Training Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce development strategy, ensuring employees have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles and progress within the company. This position reports directly to senior HR management and has a significant impact on employee engagement, retention, and overall business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training and development programmes tailored to the organisation's strategic objectives and employee needs
• Assess training needs across all departments through consultations with management and staff, ensuring programmes address identified skill gaps
• Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions utilising various methodologies, including workshops, seminars, online learning modules, and mentoring programmes
• Lead the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and early engagement with company culture and values
• Develop and maintain training materials, resources, and documentation that support continuous learning and professional development
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback mechanisms, assessments, and performance metrics
• Identify and partner with external training providers and consultants to supplement internal capabilities where necessary
• Maintain accurate training records and generate reports on training activities, attendance, and outcomes for management review
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the organisation
• Provide guidance and support to line managers on effective employee development and performance management practices

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in training and development, HR, or a related field within a financial services, banking, or similar corporate environment
• Proven track record of designing and delivering successful training programs that have improved employee performance and engagement
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences and adapt content for different learning styles
• Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and training software platforms
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in local Filipino languages is advantageous
• Strong organisational and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
• Knowledge of compliance training requirements relevant to the financial services industry
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or Business Administration
• Professional certifications such as CIPD, ATD, or similar training and development credentials are preferred
• Experience with credit, finance, or microfinance operations is a valuable asset
