Job summary

Thames International School seeks an experienced HR leader to oversee the HR team, drive recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. The role focuses on performance management, policy compliance, and staff development to support a dynamic educational environment.

You will manage HR data, reporting, and cross-department collaborations while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in HR, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and labor relations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with conflict resolution ability.
• Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite; capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor HR team members and provide guidance in daily responsibilities.
• Manage recruitment, postings, interviewing, and candidate selection.
• Oversee onboarding processes for smooth employee transitions.
• Serve as point of contact for HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Address employee conflicts and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Oversee performance appraisals, development plans, and metrics reporting.
• Assess training needs and coordinate programs to enhance skills.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and update HR policies accordingly.
• Maintain confidential employee records and prepare HR metric reports.
• Collaborate with departments to address HR needs and support organizational objectives.
