Job summary

The Supercat Fast Ferry Corporation is seeking an HR Officer to maintain employee records, recruit qualified applicants, process pre-employment requirements, and orient new hires on policies and benefits. This role issues appointments and contracts and tracks personnel movements such as regularization, transfers, and resignations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates all employee personal files (201 files).
• Recruits and hires qualified applicants per Manpower Request.
• Ensures pre-employment requirements are completed.
• Orients new employees on company policies, procedures and benefits.
• Issues appointment papers and employment contracts.
• Keeps track of employment status movements (Regularization, End of Contract, Transfer, Reassignment, Promotion, Termination and Resignation).
• Drafts and issues employment certifications.
• Monitors and collates all performance evaluation reports.
• Issues bank endorsements for payroll purposes.
• Facilitates in processing Emergency Loans (Medical, Funeral, Calamity).
• Bereavement/Calamity Assistance processing facilitation.
• Issuance of medical/dental referrals to accredited hospitals/dental clinics.
• Ensures adequate supply of company stationery & other office supplies.
• Provides assistance to the craft crew in processing of tickets, cash advance and reimbursement.
