The HR Secretary provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources Office to ensure the efficient and organized implementation of HR processes within the school. The position involves handling employee records, preparing HR documents, assisting in recruitment and payroll-related coordination, and maintaining confidentiality of personnel information.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Office
- Prepare, type, and file HR-related documents such as memoranda, notices, contracts, and reports
- Maintain and update employee 201 files and other personnel records
- Assist in recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and preparing employment documents
- Coordinate with employees regarding HR concerns, requirements, and submissions
- Assist in monitoring attendance, leave records, and other HR-related reports
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries related to HR matters
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee information
- Support HR activities, meetings, and school programs as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Education, or a related field
- At least one (1) year of administrative or secretarial experience, preferably in a school or institutional setting
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Can work independently and meet deadlines
