Trulaboratories Corporation is looking for a competent, detail-oriented, and dependable HR & Payroll Specialist to join our growing HR team.
This role will be primarily responsible for timekeeping, payroll and compensation administration, employee benefits, and government-mandated benefits, while also supporting key employee lifecycle processes.
We are looking for someone who has solid hands-on experience in HR and payroll and is ready to take ownership of assigned HR processes with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with numbers and deadlines, and committed to accuracy, confidentiality, and timely execution.
Prepare and process regular payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payroll inputs and adjustments.
Manage and validate employee timekeeping, DTRs, overtime, attendance, and leave records.
Review payroll data and resolve discrepancies related to salary, deductions, allowances, overtime, and leave.
Administer and maintain employee records for SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG, including registrations, updates, deductions, and remittances.
Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure timely processing of government-mandated benefits.
Administer company employee benefits, including HMO, and coordinate employee concerns and updates.
Maintain accurate and updated 201 files and employment records.
Support onboarding, offboarding, job offers, employment contracts, and other HR documentation.
Manage and monitor the Subcontractor Evaluation Cycle, including schedules, completion, documentation, and follow-through.
Coordinate with employees, managers, and external partners to resolve HR and payroll concerns.
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee, payroll, and compensation information.
Support HR programs, projects, and process improvements as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant HR experience, with strong hands‑on experience in payroll, timekeeping, compensation, and employee benefits.
Solid working knowledge and actual experience in SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG administration.
Proven experience in payroll preparation and timekeeping validation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Strong numerical, analytical, and data‑checking skills.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Experience with HRIS, payroll, or timekeeping systems is an advantage.
Can independently manage assigned HR processes with minimal supervision.
Takes ownership and follows through on responsibilities and deadlines.
Is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and reliable.
Is confident in checking data, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues.
Works well independently while collaborating effectively with the HR team.
