XURE APP INC is seeking an HR Specialist in the Philippines to manage HRIS, payroll, and employee relations. You will maintain employee records, process payroll, and support engagement initiatives and policy compliance.
The role involves coordination with Finance and management to ensure accurate HR data, timely payroll, and effective HR programs while upholding confidentiality and labor law requirements.
HR Specialist responsible for managing HR information systems, payroll processing, employee engagement initiatives, and employee relations matters. The role ensures accurate and timely HR and payroll transactions, maintains employee records and HR data, supports a positive employee experience, and assists in addressing workplace concerns in accordance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
The position works closely with employees, department heads, Finance, and management to ensure efficient HR operations, accurate employee information, timely payroll processing, and effective implementation of employee programs and workplace policies.
Maintain and update employee information in the company's HRIS and other HR-related systems.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of employee records, including personal information, employment status, compensation, attendance, leave, and other HR data.
Manage employee onboarding, transfers, promotions, regularization, and separation records within the HRIS.
Maintain accurate employee masterlists and HR databases.
Generate HR reports and analytics related to headcount, attendance, turnover, leave, payroll, and other HR metrics.
Monitor HRIS data integrity and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies.
Assist in the implementation, improvement, and configuration of HRIS processes and workflows.
Ensure proper handling and confidentiality of employee information.
Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and within established deadlines.
Review attendance, timesheets, overtime, undertime, tardiness, leave, absences, deductions, allowances, incentives, and other payroll-related information.
Coordinate with Finance regarding payroll processing, funding, deductions, and other payroll requirements.
Validate payroll inputs and conduct reconciliation before payroll release.
Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documents.
Assist in the preparation and processing of government-mandated contributions and payroll-related requirements, as applicable.
Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Prepare payroll reports and other compensation-related reports required by management.
Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and compensation information.
Assist in planning and implementing employee engagement activities, programs, and initiatives.
Coordinate company events such as General Assemblies, employee activities, team-building programs, recognition activities, and other engagement initiatives.
Support employee recognition and rewards programs.
Conduct or assist with employee surveys, engagement surveys, and feedback activities.
Monitor employee feedback and identify areas that may require HR intervention or improvement.
Develop initiatives that promote employee participation, communication, collaboration, and workplace culture.
Coordinate with department representatives and employee committees for engagement activities.
Track participation and prepare post-activity reports and recommendations.
Handle employee concerns, workplace issues, grievances, and interpersonal concerns professionally and confidentially.
Assist in conducting fact-finding activities and documentation related to employee relations cases.
Support the implementation of company policies, procedures, and workplace rules.
Assist in preparing HR documentation such as Notices to Explain, disciplinary notices, incident reports, and other employee relations documents.
Assist management and department heads in addressing employee performance, attendance, conduct, and workplace concerns.
Ensure that employee relations processes are handled consistently, fairly, and in accordance with company policies and applicable labor regulations.
Maintain proper documentation and case records for employee relations matters.
Monitor recurring employee concerns and recommend appropriate HR interventions.
Assist in labor compliance monitoring and coordinate with management regarding applicable labor requirements.
Support the proper implementation and communication of HR policies and labor-related regulations.
Maintain professional relationships with employees, management, and relevant external parties when necessary.
Ensure HR transactions and documentation are processed accurately and on time.
Maintain organized and updated personnel files and HR records.
Assist in the preparation of employment contracts, HR forms, certifications, and other employee documentation.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
Monitor compliance with internal HR policies and procedures.
Assist in audits, government inspections, and HR compliance requirements when necessary.
Maintain confidentiality of employee, payroll, compensation, and case-related information.
Perform other HR-related duties and projects as assigned by management.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in HR operations, HRIS, payroll, employee relations, or a similar HR role.
Experience in payroll processing and HR information systems.
Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
Familiarity with government-mandated employment requirements and statutory contributions.
Strong knowledge of attendance, leave, payroll, and employee records administration.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling employee information.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Experience with HRIS, payroll, or attendance management systems is an advantage.
