The University of Perpetual Help System Laguna Inc. in the Philippines invites an HR Officer to oversee academic and administrative HR at the Pueblo de Panay Campus (On-site).
The role covers academic labor compliance, HRIS & payroll systems, end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, and records management. You will build strong relationships with academic heads, faculty and staff while safeguarding confidentiality and integrity.
Work Location: Pueblo de Panay Campus (On-site).
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development Management (BS HRDM), Psychology, or a closely related field.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR experience within an academic / higher education setup.
Academic Labor Compliance: Deep understanding of Philippine Labor Code, academic tenure rules, faculty ranking policies, and school regulations.
HRIS & Payroll Systems: Hands-on expertise using Human Resource Information Systems, attendance monitoring software, and statutory portal administration.
End-to-End Recruitment & Onboarding: Proven track record in sourcing, credential evaluation, and shortlisting both academic faculty and administrative support staff.
201 Records Management & Auditing: Strong technical skill in establishing secure, audit-ready physical and digital record-keeping systems.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional capability to build collaborative relationships with academic heads, faculty members, administrative staff, and labor representatives.
Conflict Resolution & Employee Relations: Tactful mediation skills for resolving interpersonal disputes, administrative grievances, and policy issues.
Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving: Ability to align campus staffing strategies with overall institutional goals and academic timelines.
