Job Description
The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all facets of human resources operations within the company and its affiliated companies. This role ensures the smooth implementation of HR policies, supports payroll processing, manages employee records, and supervises timekeeping systems. The HR Supervisor acts as a key partner in aligning HR practices with business objectives while fostering a productive and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee daily HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and training coordination.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, company policies, and internal procedures.
- Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and standard HR procedures.
- Serve as HR point of contact for employee concerns and management HR consultations.
2. Timekeeping & Attendance Management
- Manage and monitor employee attendance and timekeeping records across company locations.
- Review timesheets, leave applications, and overtime requests for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with department heads regarding attendance issues and discrepancies.
- Generate and submit attendance reports for management review.
3. Payroll Coordination
- Provide necessary HR data to support accurate payroll processing including attendance, leave balances, and deductions.
- Coordinate with the Payroll Specialist for timely payroll processing.
- Assist in addressing employee payroll-related inquiries.
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Promote a positive work environment and maintain strong employee engagement.
- Handle employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary cases in accordance with company policies.
- Support HR programs such as employee recognition, engagement activities, and training initiatives.
5. HR Records & Reporting
- Maintain complete and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management decision-making.
- Ensure documentation compliance for internal audits and legal requirements.
6. Performance Management
- Implement and monitor the company’s performance evaluation system.
- Coordinate probationary and annual performance evaluations with department heads.
- Monitor employee performance records and evaluation results.
- Assist managers in developing and monitoring KPIs and KRAs.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend appropriate training or development programs.
