Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR functions of the security agency, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, policy implementation, labor compliance, and administrative support. The role ensures that all security personnel and office employees are managed effectively while maintaining compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified security personnel and administrative staff.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Coordinate with Operations for manpower requirements and deployment needs.
- Maintain a pool of qualified applicants for immediate deployment.
Employee Relations
- Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues.
- Conduct investigations related to employee misconduct and policy violations.
- Facilitate disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Performance Management
- Develop and administer performance evaluation systems.
- Monitor employee performance and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Coordinate performance reviews and employee development plans.
Compensation and Benefits
- Oversee payroll coordination, timekeeping, leave administration, and benefits management.
- Ensure accurate implementation of government-mandated benefits and company compensation programs.
- Monitor employee attendance, overtime, and compliance with work schedules.
Training and Development
- Identify training needs and develop learning programs for security personnel and office staff.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements and certifications.
- Coordinate orientation programs for newly hired employees.
Compliance and Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and security industry standards.
- Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Manage employee records and maintain confidentiality of personnel information.
HR Administration and Reporting
- Prepare HR reports, manpower updates, and workforce analytics.
- Maintain accurate employee databases and HR documentation.
- Support management in workforce planning and organizational development.
- Lead HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in a security agency, manpower services, or labor-intensive industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and government regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
