Job summary

PM Consulting in Alabang, Metro Manila, is seeking an HR Manager (Academe) to oversee all human resources activities and ensure compliance with labor laws. This onsite, dayshift role works Monday to Friday and partners with the COO and staff to align HR policies with institutional values.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience managing core HR functions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading or managing people.
• Experience handling labor unions, CBAs, or working in a unionized environment.
• Strong background in employee and labor relations.
• Solid knowledge of labor laws, government-mandated benefits, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in payroll processing and salary administration.
• Ability to develop and implement HR policies and programs.
• Experience in talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development.
• Academic setting experience preferred but not required.

Job Description

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all human resources activities to support the company and its operational goals. This role ensures compliance with labor laws, manages employee and labor relations, and develops HR programs that support employee engagement, talent growth, and a positive work environment. The HR Manager works closely with business leaders, COO, and staff to ensure HR policies and practices align with institutional values and objectives.

• Act as the main contact for labor union matters, including collective bargaining agreements and grievance handling.

• Promote a positive and professional work culture that supports employee engagement and academic excellence.
