Job summary

PM Consulting in Alabang, Metro Manila, is seeking an HR Manager (Academe) to oversee all human resources activities and ensure compliance with labor laws. This onsite, dayshift role works Monday to Friday and partners with the COO and staff to align HR policies with institutional values.

The role emphasizes employee engagement, talent growth, payroll accuracy, labor relations, and the development of HR programs that support academic excellence within the organization.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience managing core HR functions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading or managing people.
• Experience handling labor unions, CBAs, or working in a unionized environment.
• Strong background in employee and labor relations.
• Solid knowledge of labor laws, government-mandated benefits, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in payroll processing and salary administration.
• Ability to develop and implement HR policies and programs.
• Experience in talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development.
• Academic setting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits.
• Act as primary contact for labor union matters, CBAs, and grievances.
• Ensure accurate payroll processing and salary grade administration.
• Develop, update, and communicate HR policies in line with laws.
• Support workforce planning and succession planning and employee development.
• Promote a positive work culture that supports academic excellence.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations, audits, and required reporting.
