Simplex Industrial Corporation in the Philippines is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR team across recruitment, payroll, documentation, and employee relations. The role requires enforcing policies, ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws, and maintaining thorough HR documentation and governance.
You will mentor staff, drive consistent processes, and manage escalations while upholding professional boundaries across all levels of the organization.
Leading and providing clear direction to the HR team across recruitment, payroll, documentation, and employee relations
Implementing and consistently enforcing HR policies, procedures, controls, and management directives
Managing employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary matters, performance management, and investigations
Ensuring proper HR documentation, approvals, reporting lines, and compliance with established procedures
Establishing clear boundaries between HR and other departments and preventing bypassing of proper channels or unauthorized exceptions
Monitoring HR deadlines, employee movements, evaluations, contracts, and other recurring requirements to ensure proper follow-through
Identifying gaps or recurring failures in HR processes and implementing corrective measures
Advising management on employee relations, HR risks, compliance, and policy implementation
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with experience supervising an HR team
Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR best practices, disciplinary procedures, and compliance requirements
Strong leadership, judgment, and decision-making skills with the ability to provide clear direction to an HR team
Highly organized and systematic, with strong attention to documentation, deadlines, and follow-through
Ability to enforce policies consistently and maintain appropriate professional boundaries with employees and department heads
Confident in addressing process violations, inappropriate requests, and attempts to bypass established procedures
Professional, discreet, firm, and able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
