Qualifications

• Professional HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years in a generalist HR role.
• Strong knowledge of PH labour laws.
• Experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.

About the role

We are seeking an HR Generalist to join Brookside Manpower Services on a full-time basis at our office located in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. This is a strategic position within our Human Resources department, responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across all functional areas of the organisation. As an HR Generalist, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR initiatives that align with our business objectives, whilst ensuring compliance with employment regulations and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee engagement, recruitment, and organisational development within a dynamic and growing company.

Key responsibilities

• Recruiting, screening, and interviewing candidates for various positions within the organisation, managing the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting to onboarding
• Administering payroll, benefits, and employee records in compliance with local labour laws and company policies
• Providing HR support to managers and employees on matters including leave management, performance management, and employee relations
• Developing and delivering employee training and development programmes to enhance workforce skills and capabilities
• Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements, conducting audits as necessary
• Managing employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and redundancy procedures where applicable
• Coordinating employee engagement initiatives and activities to promote a positive workplace culture
• Maintaining accurate and confidential HR documentation and records, utilising HR information systems effectively
• Supporting the development and implementation of HR strategies that contribute to organisational goals
• Acting as a point of contact for employee inquiries and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• A professional qualification in Human Resources, such as CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) accreditation or equivalent recognised HR qualification
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a generalist HR role or in a similar multi-functional HR capacity
• Strong knowledge of local labour legislation and employment law applicable to the Philippines
• Demonstrated experience in recruitment and talent acquisition processes, including candidate sourcing and selection
• Proficiency in HR information systems and experience with payroll and benefits administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all organisational levels
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Sound understanding of performance management, employee relations, and employee development practicesAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR matters with discretion and professionalism
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management software
• Preferred experience in the recruitment or staffing industry would be advantageous
