Job summary

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Recruitment Specialist to join Brookside Manpower Services in Parañaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in identifying, attracting, and placing top talent within our organisation and for our clients. As an HR Recruitment Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our talent acquisition efforts, directly contributing to the growth and success of Brookside Manpower Services by building strong recruitment pipelines and ensuring we secure the best candidates for diverse roles across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for vacant positions across multiple departments and client requirements
• Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct outreach to build a robust talent pipeline
• Screen resumes and conduct initial telephone or video interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and professional interview experience
• Prepare job descriptions and recruitment briefs in collaboration with hiring managers to clearly define role requirements and expectations
• Manage recruitment databases and maintain accurate records of all candidates, applications, and recruitment metrics
• Provide regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment progress, candidate pipelines, and time-to-hire statistics
• Conduct reference checks and verify candidate credentials to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Liaise with Human Resources team members on employment contracts, onboarding procedures, and candidate relocation assistance where applicable
• Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and recommend enhancements to attract and retain top talent

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 1 year of professional recruitment experience, ideally within a recruitment firm, manpower services company, or corporate HR department
• Proven track record of successfully recruiting and placing candidates across various job levels and industries
• Strong proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and HR management tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with both candidates and hiring managers
• Solid understanding of employment law, labour regulations, and best practices in recruitment within the Philippines
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously whilst meeting tight deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining recruitment records and documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar professional networking platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• Certification in HR practices or recruitment (such as SHRM-CP or equivalent) is a plus
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of local languages is beneficial
