Job summary

Talento Solution Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking an HR Generalist to support recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and compliance across our Manila operations.

You will partner with department heads to forecast manpower, handle onboarding, and maintain accurate personnel records. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, and proficiency in Excel and Word.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience using an HRIS is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, supervisors, department heads, and management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for production operators, technicians, engineers, warehouse staff, and office personnel.
  • Coordinate with department heads to determine manpower requirements for production, distribution, logistics, and other operations.
  • Source candidates through job portals, recruitment agencies, referrals, local networks, and other recruitment channels.
  • Conduct initial screening and interviews and coordinate with hiring managers regarding candidate selection.
  • Ensure timely hiring, onboarding, and deployment of employees to meet manpower and production requirements.
  • Monitor recruitment status and manpower requirements.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employee concerns across factory and office operations.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace conflicts in accordance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
  • Assist in conducting administrative investigations and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and productive work environment.
  • Organize employee engagement activities, HR orientations, toolbox meetings, and other employee programs.
  • Oversee employee attendance, timekeeping, shift schedules, and overtime records.
  • Coordinate payroll processing and ensure accurate payroll inputs for overtime pay, night shift differential, holiday pay, leave and absence adjustments, and other payroll adjustments.
  • Coordinate administration of government-mandated benefits, including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
  • Monitor leave balances, absences, and attendance concerns.
  • Coordinate with payroll teams to resolve timekeeping and payroll discrepancies.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with Philippine Labor Laws, DOLE regulations, and applicable occupational safety and health standards.
  • Maintain complete and accurate employee documentation, including employment contracts, 201 files, disciplinary records, and other HR documents.
  • Assist during DOLE audits, inspections, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and communicate company HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist management in addressing labor-related concerns and employee cases.
  • Identify training needs for technical and operational positions, including electronics assembly, quality control, equipment handling, and production operations.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees, particularly production workers.
  • Support skills training, certification programs, safety training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Maintain training records and monitor completion of required programs.
  • Assist in employee performance evaluations and development activities.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of KPI systems for production staff efficiency, warehouse productivity, technical team performance, attendance and workforce reliability.
  • Assist managers and supervisors in conducting employee performance reviews.
  • Monitor probationary employee evaluations and regularization.
  • Assist in implementing Performance Improvement Plans when required.
  • Maintain proper performance-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with Safety Officers regarding occupational safety and health compliance.
  • Assist in organizing safety training, emergency drills, and workplace safety programs.
  • Support the documentation and investigation of workplace incidents and accidents.
  • Promote a strong safety culture within factory, warehouse, and office environments.
  • Ensure employees comply with PPE and workplace safety requirements.
  • Maintain and update employee 201 files and other personnel records.
  • Ensure employee documents are complete, accurate, and properly filed.
  • Prepare HR reports such as headcount, attrition, hiring status, attendance, manpower requirements, and employee movement.
  • Prepare HR memos, notices, announcements, and other employee communications.
  • Support employment contract preparation, renewal, and other manpower documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of employee information.
  • Work closely with production, warehouse, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure manpower availability.
  • Monitor staffing levels during peak production periods, projects, and delivery cycles.
  • Assist with workforce adjustments, employee reassignment, and shifting schedules based on operational requirements.
  • Provide HR support to supervisors and managers in resolving manpower and workforce concerns.
  • Recommend staffing adjustments when necessary to support operational targets.
  • Coordinate with manpower agencies, recruitment partners, training providers, and other HR-related vendors, when applicable.
  • Monitor agency manpower deployment, attendance, documentation, and compliance.
  • Coordinate recruitment requirements and deployment schedules with external agencies.
  • Ensure third-party personnel comply with company policies, safety standards, and workplace requirements.
