Job Summary
The HR Associate – HR Projects provides project coordination, research, analytics, documentation, and implementation support for various HR initiatives. The role works closely with HR leaders and different HR functions to ensure projects are properly planned, monitored, documented, and completed within agreed timelines. The position may support projects across Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, HR Operations, HR Technology, and other HR transformation initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
HR Project Coordination & Implementation
- Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of assigned HR projects and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project trackers, timelines, action plans, and status reports.
- Coordinate project activities with HR teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and other relevant parties.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and deadlines.
- Follow up with project owners and stakeholders on pending actions and commitments.
- Identify potential delays or implementation issues and escalates them to the appropriate project lead.
- Assist in organizing project meetings, workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
2. Research & Benchmarking
- Conduct research and benchmarking on HR practices, programs, policies, technologies, and industry trends.
- Gather internal and external data to support the development of HR programs and recommendations.
- Consolidate findings and prepare clear summaries, presentations, and recommendations for management review.
- Support feasibility assessments and business cases for proposed HR initiatives.
3. HR Data & Analytics
- Gather, consolidate, validate, and analyze HR data required for projects and management reporting.
- Maintain dashboards and trackers for key project metrics and deliverables.
- Assist in identifying trends, gaps, and insights from HR data.
- Prepare reports and presentations that translate data into actionable information.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee and HR information.
4. Process Improvement & Documentation
- Assist in reviewing and documenting existing HR processes and workflows.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development of new or improved HR processes, guidelines, templates, and tools.
- Prepare process maps, SOPs, project documentation, and implementation materials.
- Help monitor adoption and effectiveness of newly implemented HR processes.
5. Stakeholder & Change Management Support
- Coordinate with HR teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, feedback, and project updates.
- Assist in preparing communications, FAQs, presentations, training materials, and other change-management materials.
- Support orientation or briefing sessions related to new HR programs, processes, systems, or policies.
- Track stakeholder feedback and assist the project lead in addressing implementation concerns.
6. HR Programs & Special Projects
- Provide project support for HR programs such as employee engagement initiatives, talent programs, recruitment projects, HR technology implementation, organizational initiatives, and other special projects.
- Provide administrative and logistical support when required to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform other project-related responsibilities that may be assigned by the HR Head or project lead.
Technical Competencies and Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data consolidation, basic formulas, PivotTables, and reporting. Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and presentation preparation. Knowledge of project management tools, trackers, and methodologies is an advantage. Ability to conduct research, benchmarking, and basic data analysis. Ability to prepare process documentation, reports, dashboards, and management presentations. Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, survey platforms.
Education, Trainings and Licenses Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering
