We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team at our Manila City location on a full-time basis. As HR Assistant, you will provide essential support to our HR team and play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations across our organisation. Your contributions will directly impact employee satisfaction, compliance, and the overall effectiveness of our HR department.
Assisting with the recruitment process, including job posting, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate records
Supporting the onboarding of new employees, including preparing documentation, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation
Maintaining and updating employee records, personnel files, and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
Processing employee documentation such as leave requests, timesheet approvals, and benefits claims
Assisting with payroll administration, including data entry and verification of employee information
Supporting the organisation and coordination of HR events, training sessions, and team-building activities
Responding to general HR enquiries from employees and providing administrative support across the department
Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, and assisting in documentation for audit purposes
Performing general administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, and report preparation
A secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification at minimum; a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous
Proven experience in an administrative or HR support role, ideally in a corporate or large organisational environment
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, along with familiarity with HR management systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is beneficial
A courteous and professional demeanour with a genuine interest in supporting employees
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across all levels of the organisation
Knowledge of local labour laws and employment regulations in the Philippines is preferred
A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
