Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.

• Skilled in problem solving to quickly assess current state and formulate recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls from health care providers and identify the type of assistance needed (e.g. benefit and eligibility, billing and payments, authorizations for treatment, explanation of benefits).
• Navigate complex computer systems to identify issue status and provide appropriate response on first call.
• Deliver information and answer questions to facilitate solid relationships with providers and their staff.
• Complete the documentation necessary to track provider issues and facilitate reporting of overall trends.
• Comply with employment contracts and company policies, including flexible work arrangements and other directives.
