About the role

The Head of Warehouse and Logistics is responsible for leading the company's warehousing and logistics operations to ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely execution of product storage, order fulfillment, dispatch, and transportation activities. The role oversees the physical movement of goods from receipt through delivery while ensuring compliance with operational standards, safety requirements, and customer service commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise all warehouse activities to ensure efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of products.

• Maintain warehouse organization, housekeeping, and operational efficiency.

• Ensure products are properly handled and stored in accordance with company standards.

• Optimize warehouse space utilization and workflow efficiency.

• Oversee daily dispatch and transportation activities to ensure timely deliveries.

• Develop delivery schedules and optimize transport routes in coordination with operational requirements.

• Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on schedule.

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for warehouse and logistics operations.

• Ensure compliance with occupational safety, security, and regulatory requirements.

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and logistics personnel.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or operations management.

• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Experience managing warehouse operations, transportation, and distribution activities.

• Experience in trading, retail, FMCG, distribution, or importation industries is preferred.
