Job description

Overview

Sets up inventory and logistics management procedures, and ensures that they are compiled with.

Oversees the entire W&L operations of the company and introduces continuous improvement towards achievement of full potential and better performance of the department.

Responsible for the introduction, conceptualization and implementation of operational systems attuned to the present and future industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversees good scheduling of Receiving, Unloading, Withdrawal of products at Cold Storage Facilities.
• Monitors stocks in Dry and Cold Warehouses, paying close attention to Production and Expiration Dates of stocks.
• Ensures proper stock movement with adherence to FIFO and FEFO.
• Monitors timely delivery of products to customers.
• Supervises everyday itinerary of Field Personnel.
• Ensures that all reports are complete, accurate and submitted on time.
• Prepares the monthly reports as may be required by immediate superior for reference purposes.
• Submits supplies requisitions and other equipment maintenance relative to Warehouse and Logistics requirements.
• Performs and implements set quality procedures and systems.
• Performs other related duties at a similar level of skill and complexity as required by superiors.

Qualifications

• A graduate of Industrial Engineering/Management or Logistics or any business related course
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in leadership level in Warehouse & Logistics
• Knowledge of software applications including ERP, GDocs / GSheets / ERP
• Strong analytical and planning skill
• Good communication and presentation skill
• Excellent problem solving skills
