Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Manager to oversee all warehouse operations and logistics activities in the Metro Manila area. The role focuses on efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and cost-effective distribution.

You will drive process improvements, ensure compliance with safety standards, and collaborate with procurement, production, and customer service to align operations with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in a multi-shift environment, preferably in food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and inventory control software.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, and variance reporting.
• Lead and develop warehouse staff, ensuring proper training, performance evaluation, and adherence to company policies.
• Plan and monitor logistics activities, including transportation scheduling, delivery coordination, and supplier compliance.
• Ensure good condition of the fleet and its GPS system.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor delivery schedules and resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or damages.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards within the warehouse and logistics functions.
• Implement process improvements, cost-reduction strategies, and Lean practices to optimize efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, customer service, and Sales teams to align operations with business objectives.
• Prepare and present operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to management.
