Job summary
Private Advertiser is seeking a field-based supervisor to oversee daily waste hauling and transportation operations in Metro Manila. You will ensure optimal deployment of drivers, crews, and equipment while maintaining safety, schedule adherence, and quality services.
The role requires experience in waste management, logistics, and supervisory duties, with familiarity with DENR/EMB, LTO, and GPS fleet systems. Strong leadership and compliance orientation are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates with a relevant technical or vocational background and substantial hauling/waste management experience may also be considered.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in waste management, hauling, logistics, transportation, fleet operations, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience managing drivers, helpers, field personnel, or hauling crews.
- Experience in a waste management or environmental services company.
- Experience supervising garbage trucks, dump trucks, vacuum trucks, roll-on/roll-off trucks, compactors, or similar hauling equipment.
- Experience dealing with commercial, industrial, residential, construction, or institutional waste.
- Familiarity with DENR/EMB requirements applicable to waste management activities.
- Familiarity with LTO, LTMS, and applicable transportation requirements.
- Experience using GPS vehicle tracking or fleet management systems.

About the role
Responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily hauling and transportation of waste from client locations, collection points, transfer stations, treatment facilities, recycling facilities, and/or authorized disposal facilities. The position ensures that drivers, helpers, hauling crews, vehicles, and equipment are properly deployed and that all hauling activities are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with company procedures, client requirements, and applicable Philippine laws and regulations. Serves as the primary field-level supervisor for hauling operations and is responsible for monitoring route execution, vehicle utilization, manpower productivity, safety, documentation, and service quality.
