Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks an experienced Fleet Supervisor to oversee truck operations, plan trips, monitor routes, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will supervise drivers and helpers, coordinate loading and safety, and liaise with fleet maintenance.
The role requires a bachelor's degree related field and at least two years in trucking operations; willingness to be assigned in Sta. Cruz, Manila. Stable employment with growth opportunities is offered.
Achieve optimum delivery operations by maximazing delivery potentials of trucks, routes, drivers and helpers in line with job orders
Plan and monitor the trips and routes of trucks, complete the internal and mandatory documents needed for the customers and for the routes required by LGU and regulatory agencies in coordination with the Admin Assistant, assign drivers and helpers, and get feedbacks and reports after unloading and return from trips.
Planning and monitoring includes: (a) unit checklist for safe operation and dispatching; (b) physical conditions of assigned drivers and helpers with special instructions on site of delivery if applicable; (c) expected time of departure, arrival and return clearly communicated to the driver; (d) on-route monitoring and the use of GPS & tracking and constant communication when applicable; (e) on-site situation and customer feedback communicated to the OM, during and after delivery.
Supervises the drivers and helpers on their work schedules, schedules of leaves and absences, and all aspect of disciplinary concerns.
In-charge of the lodging areas and maintains cleanliness and healthy environment
Supervise and monitor the loading in tandem with the cargo loader or safety officer, or examine the load conditions after loading for safety consideration.
Coordinate and communicate with loaders and safety officer on safe practices
Coordinate and communicate with Head of Fleet Management on the wear-and-tear of truck parts and components, schedules of routing periodic maintenance, emergency repairs, and onsite and offsite rescue.
Qualifications:
With minimum of two (2) years experience in trucking operations, with responsibilities in supervision, dispatching, route planning and the likes
With Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business or Science courses emphasizing in Management
Willing to be assigned at Sta Cruz, Manila
