Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a dispatch coordinator to oversee daily deployment of waste collection and hauling vehicles, drivers, helpers, and field crews. You will ensure routes meet client requirements and that communications are clear across teams.

You will maintain dispatch records, monitor vehicle movements, track service completion, and provide timely updates to management. Relevant experience in logistics and familiarity with GPS tracking are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years dispatch/logistics experience.
• Experience in dispatching, waste management, or fleet operations advantageous.
• Familiarity with GPS/fleet tracking systems.
• Knowledge of Philippine transportation and waste management requirements.
• Experience coordinating with drivers, clients and disposal facilities.

About the role

Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the daily deployment and movement of waste collection and hauling vehicles, drivers, helpers, and field crews. Ensures that scheduled routes and client requirements are properly communicated and executed, vehicles are deployed efficiently, and operational issues are immediately communicated to the appropriate personnel. The position serves as a central communication point between the Operations Team, Hauling Supervisors, Drivers, Helpers, Clients, Maintenance/Fleet Team, and Waste Disposal or Receiving Facilities. Responsible for maintaining accurate dispatch records, monitoring vehicle movements, tracking service completion, and providing timely operational updates to management.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Transportation Management, or a related field is preferred
• Candidates with relevant vocational training or significant dispatch/logistics experience may also be considered
• At least 1–3 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, fleet operations, waste management, or a related field
• Experience in vehicle dispatch or field-service coordination is an advantage
• Previous experience in a waste management, hauling, trucking, logistics, or environmental services company
• Experience dispatching garbage trucks, dump trucks, roll-on/roll-off trucks, compactors, or similar vehicles
• Familiarity with waste collection and hauling operations
• Knowledge of basic vehicle and fleet terminology
• Experience using GPS/fleet tracking systems
• Experience coordinating with drivers, helpers, clients, and disposal facilities
• Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements
• Familiarity with applicable transportation and waste management requirements in the Philippines
