Job summary

Vikings Group of Companies is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager in the Philippines to ensure exceptional service, operational excellence, and revenue growth while upholding quality and customer satisfaction. You will guide a diverse team and coordinate with kitchen staff to deliver outstanding dining experiences.

The role requires 3–5 years in F&B management, strong leadership, and expertise in food safety, budgeting and customer service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in food and beverage management or a similar supervisory role.
• Proven track record of leading and motivating diverse teams in fast-paced service environments.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, health codes and hospitality best practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and manage budgets effectively.
• Knowledge of local market trends and competitive dining establishments is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all food and beverage service operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and company policies
• Manage and supervise a team of waiting staff and kitchen personnel, providing guidance, training and performance evaluation
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control to minimize wastage whilst maintaining optimal supply levels
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and presentation
• Manage customer reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest experience and table turnover
• Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to maintain satisfaction
• Develop and implement strategies to increase food and beverage sales and enhance customer retention
• Conduct regular staff training sessions on menu knowledge, service standards and customer service excellence
• Maintain detailed records of sales, expenses and operational metrics for reporting purposes
• Ensure the dining environment is clean, welcoming and properly maintained at all times
