Job summary

Vikings Group of Companies in the Philippines is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to lead service and operations across our outlets, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. You will recruit and train staff, optimize inventory, and drive revenue while maintaining guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include supervising the team, coordinating with kitchen staff, managing reservations, addressing complaints, and implementing strategies to boost sales and retention.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food and beverage management or a similar supervisory role.
• Proven track record of leading and motivating diverse teams in fast-paced service environments.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, health codes and hospitality best practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with staff, customers and management.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and manage budgets effectively.
• Knowledge of local market trends and competitive dining establishments is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all food and beverage service operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
• Manage and supervise a team of waiting staff and kitchen personnel, providing guidance, training and performance evaluation.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control to minimize wastage whilst maintaining optimal supply levels.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and presentation.
• Manage customer reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest experience and table turnover.
• Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to maintain satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase food and beverage sales and enhance customer retention.
• Conduct regular staff training sessions on menu knowledge, service standards and customer service excellence.
• Maintain detailed records of sales, expenses and operational metrics for reporting purposes.
• Ensure the dining environment is clean, welcoming and properly maintained at all times.
