Malayan Insurance Co., Inc. (MICO) is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Laoag City team.

This full-time role focuses on building and maintaining strong client relationships while driving revenue growth through strategic account management and sales excellence in Ilocos Norte. You will expand our market presence, present insurance products, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure, collaborating with underwriting and service teams for seamless client

Qualifications

• Proven track record in account management, sales or relationship management within insurance or similar sectors.
• Strong understanding of insurance products and client needs assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Ability to identify business opportunities and convert leads into long-term relationships.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the client portfolio in the assigned territory.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
• Present insurance products and solutions, identifying client needs and providing tailored recommendations.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions using CRM systems.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims and customer service to ensure seamless client experiences.
• Conduct regular account reviews and provide ongoing policy guidance.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining profitability standards.
• Participate in networking events and industry forums to build brand awareness and generate new business.
• Stay updated on insurance products, market trends and competitor activities.
