• Knowledge of the Philippine dealership market is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Metro Manila.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Account Executive - Dealership to join our dynamic Sales team at Malayan Insurance Co., Inc. (MICO). This is a full-time position based in Manila City, Metro Manila, offering an excellent opportunity to build and manage key relationships within the dealership sector. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional service to our dealership partners. This role is crucial to our business development strategy and directly contributes to MICO's expansion within the automotive insurance market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new dealership accounts and expand existing partnerships within the Metro Manila region
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with dealership principals, managers, and key decision-makers
• Conduct thorough needs assessments and provide tailored insurance solutions that address each dealership's specific requirements
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to prospective and existing clients
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing to ensure mutual benefit and profitability for MICO
• Monitor account performance, identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Provide ongoing support and customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account progress using CRM systems
• Collaborate with internal teams including underwriting, claims, and customer service to ensure seamless client experiences
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and enhance market presence

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the insurance, automotive, or dealership sectors
• 1+ years of experience in account management or relationship management roles
• Strong understanding of insurance products, particularly motor vehicle or comprehensive vehicle insurance policies
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
• Self-motivated and results-driven with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
• Knowledge of the Philippine dealership market and automotive industry would be advantageous
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Metro Manila for client meetings
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
