You will perform daily maintenance on fairways, greens, roughs, and landscaped areas using proper tools and machines, ensuring a pristine course for members and guests. The ideal candidate has experience in turf care and grounds maintenance, can operate ride-on mowers and aerators, follows safety protocols, and works well in a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or turf care.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance of fairways, greens, roughs, and landscaped areas.
• Operate and maintain grounds equipment (ride-on mowers, aerators, etc.).
• Apply fertilisers, herbicides, and other turf treatments per schedules and safety protocols.
• Monitor irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of all course areas.
• Assist with course preparations for tournaments and events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of maintenance areas and equipment.

About the role

Riviera Golf Club, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grounds Crew member to join our team on a full-time basis in Silang Cavite. This role is essential to maintaining the exceptional quality and aesthetic appeal of our golf course and grounds. As a Grounds Crew member, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of maintenance and presentation, directly contributing to an outstanding experience for our members and guests. Your work will involve hands‑on maintenance tasks that require precision, physical capability, and a commitment to excellence in turf management and grounds upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming of fairways, greens, roughs, and landscaped areas using appropriate machinery and hand tools
• Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment such as ride‑on mowers, aerators, and other specialised turf care machinery
• Apply fertilisers, herbicides, and other treatments to turf and landscaped areas according to approved schedules and safety protocols
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering of all course areas
• Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify and address maintenance issues, damage, or areas requiring attention
• Assist with course preparations for tournaments, special events, and member activities
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of maintenance equipment, storage areas, and work zones
• Follow all health and safety procedures and regulations whilst performing duties
• Work collaboratively with other grounds crew members and report to supervising staff

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, turf management, landscape maintenance, or similar agricultural or horticultural roles
• Demonstrated knowledge of turf grass care, plant maintenance, and seasonal grounds management practices
• Proficiency in operating grounds maintenance equipment and machinery, with relevant certifications where applicable
• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour, including lifting, bending, and working in outdoor conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in accordance with health and safety requirements
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliability and a positive work ethic with strong punctuality
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in grounds maintenance
