Job summary

Odfjell Technology in Makati seeks a capable accounting professional to manage project accounting and ERP-based processes. You will establish and modify projects in IFS, update budgets, and ensure timely reporting while safeguarding confidential information.

You will work closely with project managers, handle timesheets, and prepare monthly and weekly financial reports. The role requires two years in GBS support, strong English communication, and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• At least two years in Global Business Services for Accounting/Finance in a shared services setting.
• Experience with project accounting.
• Experience in data entry and management.
• Familiar with ERP and basic accounting software.
• Familiar with IFS ERP.
• Strong organizational skills and confidentiality.
• Ability to take initiative and make decisions within scope.
• Structured, accurate, and deadline-driven.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work independently.
• Onsite in Makati.

Responsibilities

• Establishment and modification of projects in IFS.
• Provide access to personnel.
• Follow up unapproved/missing timesheets.
• Update budgets per project.
• Correct manhours and reallocate.
• Provide weekly cost reporting.
• Check missing sales price and internal price.
• Transfer of forward supplier invoices into project transactions.
• Update MODU procurement POs.
• Update potential loss reports.
• Prepare appropriation reports for MODU portfolio.
• Prepare monthly portfolio reports and invoicing details.
• Deliver month-end business controlling tasks (revenue and cost accruals).
• Participate in checking preliminary supplier invoices.
• Issuance of payment certificates.
• Closing of projects.
• Participate in meetings with counterparts.
• Ad-hoc requests from project managers.
• Perform other related tasks.
