Job Description
The Oracle Accounting System Project Manager will take over a migration project currently 50% complete, following the transition of the existing finance lead. This role is crucial in ensuring continuity, alignment, and successful deployment of the Oracle accounting and ERP modules within the organization. The position starts as an interim post but may evolve into a permanent leadership role depending on capability, project delivery, and organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the ongoing Oracle accounting system migration and bring it to completion.
- Review current project status, gaps, and pending deliverables; re-establish timelines and critical paths.
- Coordinate with Oracle implementers, internal finance, IT, operations, and external consultants.
- Oversee configuration, testing, and validation of all accounting-related modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Inventory/Costing, etc.).
- Ensure system setup aligns with accounting standards, internal controls, and FMCG operational realities.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and sign-off processes.
Change Management & Process Alignment
- Map AS-IS vs. TO-BE processes; recommend improvements based on best practices.
- Support users in Makati (HQ) and Calamba (factory) for training, troubleshooting, and adoption.
- Ensure smooth parallel runs and migration of historical data.
Governance & Reporting
- Track project milestones, resources, risks, and interdependencies.
- Provide weekly progress updates to senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation of workflows, controls, and system enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, IT, or a related field; CPA preferred but not required.
- At least 5 years’ experience in ERP implementation, with strong background in Oracle (or similar enterprise systems).
- Strong understanding of accounting processes, internal controls, and FMCG operations.
- Proven project management experience, including timelines, stakeholder management, and cross-department coordination.
- Excellent analytical skills, communication, and ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
- Willing to travel occasionally to the Calamba factory for onsite activities.
- Ability to assume leadership quickly in a mid-stream project.
- High level of ownership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing FMCG environment.
- Strong documentation discipline and clarity in communication.

- May transition to a permanent Project Manager / Finance Systems Lead role depending on performance and organizational fit.
