Odfjell Technology Corp. in Makati is seeking an experienced Accounting/Finance professional to join our Global Business Services. The role focuses on project accounting, data entry, budgets, and ensuring accurate financial processing in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of Global Business Services experience in Accounting/Finance in shared services.
• Knowledge and experience in project accounting.
• Data entry and data management experience.
• Familiar with ERP and basic accounting tools.
• Exposure to IT software and computerized accounting systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Initiative and decision-making within policy.
• Structured, accurate, and quality-focused with deadlines.
• Result-oriented, customer-focused with business insight.
• Strong oral and written English communication.
• Collaborative and able to communicate with counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Establishment and modification of projects in IFS.
• Providing access to personnel.
• Follow-up on unapproved or missing timesheets.
• Update budgets per project, including BID/PO and VORs/VOs.
• Correct manhours and move hours between projects.
• Provide weekly cost reporting.
• Check missing or internal pricing.
• Transfer forward supplier invoices into project transactions.
• Update MODU procurement POs with ODT procurement activities.
• Update potential loss reports.
• Prepare appropriation reports for MODU portfolio.
• Prepare monthly portfolio reports and ready-for-invoicing details.
• Deliver month-end business controlling tasks (revenue and cost accruals).
• Check preliminary supplier invoices for accruals.
• Issue payment certificates.
• Close projects.
• Participate in meetings with counterparts.
• Ad-hoc requests from project managers.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.
