Job summary

American Express in the Philippines seeks a Japanese bilingual Colleague and Labor Relations Specialist to champion fair, consistent colleague experiences and minimize legal exposure across markets. You will report to the CLR Manager and support several markets globally with data-driven trend identification and proactive solutions.

You will lead complex employment relations cases, support new business initiatives, and collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit, and HR partners.

Qualifications

• Professional-level fluency (spoken and written) in Japanese and English.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with concentration in Employee & Labor Relations.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Law, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end complex employment relations cases and track through the global case management tool.
• Support new business initiatives with process guidance for consultation and documentation.
• Provide CLR specialist advice to CEG team members across markets, globally.
• Support the implementation of global organizational change initiatives to drive efficiency.
• Deliver CLR training to leaders and employees to reduce labor risk.
• Review and update CEG policies and procedures.
• Respond to inquiries escalated from the Colleague Service Center.
• Work multi-market setting and follow shifting schedules as required.
