Job summary

American Express in Taguig City, Philippines (Hybrid) seeks a Colleague & Labor Relations Specialist fluent in Spanish and English to champion fair employee experiences across markets. You will report to the CLR Manager and lead end-to-end employment relations cases while supporting global initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in Employee & Labor Relations, a Bachelor's degree in HR/Law, and strong communication and investigative skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with concentration in Employee & Labor Relations
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Law, or related discipline
• Experience handling Employee Relations issues for different markets, globally
• Experience conducting sensitive workplace investigations
• Strong organizational skills and a proven drive for results

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end complex employment relations cases (performance management, disciplinary procedures, grievance investigations) and track through the global case management tool
• Provide CLR specialist advice to the CEG team members in different areas of their roles across different markets, globally
• Support the implementation of global organizational change initiatives or projects to drive efficiency and add CLR value
• Deliver CLR training to leaders and employees to find opportunities to reduce labor risk and research and develop pivotal initiatives to mitigate it
• Review and update CEG policies and procedures
• Respond to CEG/CLR enquiries escalated from the American Express Colleague Service Center
• Ability to work in a multi-market setting
• Amenable to work on shifting schedules. Able to adjust working schedules as required by the market being supported
