Job summary

KMZD GROUP in Pasay City is seeking a General Accounting Specialist to manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, with responsibility for journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience, be proficient in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks or Xero), and understand Philippine accounting practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with full-set accounting including GL/AP/AR.
• Knowledge of Philippine accounting practices and statutory requirements.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
• Record daily accounting transactions and prepare journal entries.
• Process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor customer and supplier accounts and outstanding balances.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and management reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Handle accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with cash flow monitoring and forecasting.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
• Handle tax-related matters and statutory compliance requirements in the Philippines.
• Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and properly supported.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, suppliers, customers, and management.
• Assist with financial analysis and budgeting activities.
• Maintain organized accounting files and documentation.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
