Job summary

KMZD GROUP in Manila is seeking a General Accountant who has hands-on experience managing a full set of accounts and supporting day-to-day finance operations.

You will handle accounting transactions, reconciliations, financial reporting, month-end closing, and related activities, maintaining accurate records and working independently to meet deadlines. The role also involves coordination with auditors and tax agents, and ensuring Philippine statutory compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience handling full-set accounting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
• Experience preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Familiarity with Philippine accounting practices and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
• Process daily accounting transactions and journal entries.
• Prepare and review invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Perform regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor customer and supplier accounts, including outstanding balances.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports.
• Assist in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare accounting schedules for accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and depreciation.
• Assist with cash flow monitoring and forecasting.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Assist with tax-related activities and Philippine statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, suppliers, customers, and management.
