Global Shared Services – Logistics Industry is seeking a General Accounting Specialist to handle day-to-day accounting operations and support monthly closings at its Ortigas Center, Pasig City onsite.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in finance or related field and at least 2 years of accounting experience, with SAP and MS Office proficiency. The position emphasizes accuracy, timelines, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance-related field.
• At least 2 years of general accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily general accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processing.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all financial transactions and documentation.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities through financial data and insights.
• Identify and help resolve discrepancies, reconciling items, and operational issues in coordination with relevant teams.
• Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Adhere to company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
