Job summary

The Right Outsource OPC in Cebu is seeking a Sales Assistant to support our Australian Sales Manager with international Sea and Air Freight forwarding. You will gather freight rates, maintain CRM data, and ensure timely, accurate rate information for ongoing sales activities.

You'll receive training on our in-house software and work with experienced freight forwarding professionals to develop strong organizational and administrative skills in a dynamic, globally-focused team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in international freight forwarding, logistics administration, or related role.
• Understanding of international Sea and Air Freight operations.
• Familiarity with FCL, LCL and air freight terminology.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and manage multiple administrative tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and general business software.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and working with CRM or similar systems.
• Ability to work independently while supporting an Australian-based manager.

Responsibilities

• Request and obtain Sea and Air Freight rates from shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents and logistics providers.
• Collate FCL, LCL and air freight rates as requested by the Sales Manager.
• Gather origin charges, destination charges, surcharges and transit time information.
• Compare supplier rates and present information clearly and accurately to the Sales Manager.
• Follow up outstanding rate requests with freight providers and overseas agents.
• Maintain organised records of freight rates, validity periods and supplier information.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect information within our CRM system.
• Enter and update sales leads, opportunities and relevant contact information.
• Record sales activities, meeting notes and follow-up actions as directed by the Sales Manager.
• Prepare basic CRM reports and sales activity summaries.
