East West Banking Corporation (EastWest) is seeking a Business Analyst (Fraud Analyst) to join our Digital Products and Channels team in Makati. The role involves analyzing and documenting business requirements, identifying process improvement opportunities, and delivering insights that enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, CS or related field.
1–2 years in business analysis or data analytics in banking/fintech.
Knowledge of banking products and processes in retail banking and lending.
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio for data analysis and documentation.
Experience with SQL, Python or R for data extraction and reporting.
Experience with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across Retail Banking, Wealth Management, and Lending Services.
Conduct data analysis and derive actionable insights to support decisions and initiatives.
Support the design, documentation, and enhancement of business processes and workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify optimization opportunities.
Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and recommendations.
Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments to support innovation and improvement.
Contribute to projects that drive efficiency and customer experience.
