Job summary

East West Banking Corporation in Makati is seeking a Business Analyst (Fraud Analyst) to support analysis and documentation of business requirements. You will identify opportunities for process improvement and provide insights to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

The role requires 1–2 years in business analysis or data analytics within banking/fintech, and proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, and BI tools. Hybrid work arrangement supported by the bank’s Digital Products and Channels team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in business analysis or data analytics in banking/fintech.
• Working knowledge of banking products and processes, especially retail banking and lending.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for data analysis and documentation.
• Experience using SQL, Python, and R for data extraction and reporting.
• Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization and insights.

What we're looking for

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a similar role within the banking, financial services, or fintech industry.
• Working knowledge of banking products, services, and processes, particularly in retail banking and lending.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for data analysis, documentation, and presentation development.
• Experience using SQL, Python, R, or similar tools for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
