Job summary

East West Banking Corporation in Makati is seeking a Business Analyst (Fraud Analyst) to support analysis and documentation of business requirements. You will identify opportunities for process improvement and provide insights to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

The role requires 1–2 years in business analysis or data analytics within banking/fintech, and proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, and BI tools. Hybrid work arrangement supported by the bank’s Digital Products and Channels team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in business analysis or data analytics in banking/fintech.
Working knowledge of banking products and processes, especially retail banking and lending.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for data analysis and documentation.
Experience using SQL, Python, and R for data extraction and reporting.
Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization and insights.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across Retail Banking, Wealth Management, and Lending Services.
Conduct data analysis and develop actionable insights to support decisions and initiatives.
Support design, documentation, and enhancement of business processes and operating procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and solution recommendations.
Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments to support innovation and continuous improvement.
Contribute to projects driving business efficiency and customer experience.
